Hi Anne and Michael.
Well, just got back from the hospital, and figured I would drop you a
line.  Please feel free to pass it around.  Carolyn is in a fight for
her life.  The chemo has triggered a massive infection, and she is
really having a struggle right now.  I was able to talk to the doctor,
and he told me that this is going to be a struggle that may not be
won.  She is very weak, and is not able to keep food or liquids down.
She has a very serious thrush infection in her mouth, and it hurts her
to even swallow.  On top of that, the pain is increasing, and her
joints are starting to stiffen and hurt.  She is losing her ability to
hold a conversation, and she cannot maintain a conversation, or make
much sense.  She is so beat down, and she is constantly appologizing
for causing so much trouble.  I am hurting so much.  We have been
married for 21 years, and she is so much a part of me, that I am
aching inside to see her hurting so much.  We have prayed, and I have
held nothing back from her.  She knows that this may be it, and that
she may soon be promoted to glory.  But I am not sure I will be able
to hold together.
Josh was surprised to chat with you, and he was also glad to.  He is a
great kid.  All my boys are great.  THis has brought them closer, and
has brought them back to where the Lord wants them.
I am having a difficult time though. ... I really need specific prayer for 
meeting needs here.  ....  Please pray that there will be a breakthrough in 
this.  This is a priority here.

Father God, I come to you now in the name of your precious son, Jesus Christ.
Father, you know what these "unspoken" prayer requests are.  You know the 
needs of this family.  We thank you, and we praise you, Lord!  We give YOU 
all the glory, honor and praise in this time of need.  We thank you for your 
mercy.  We thank you for your love.  We may not understand everything that is 
going on, but yet, we know that You have everything firmly in YOUR hand! 
Father, touch this family, send them the comfort that only YOU can give them. 
Touch each and every one of their hearts.  Prepare them for the hours to 
come. Be with them when their mother "catches her ride home".  We love you 
and we worship you tonight Lord!  Amen and Amen!!!
