Bob:
BP=>My brother-in-law has a "stink pot" but he has been kind enough not to
BP=>ask me out.
That's one of the cutest lines I've seen!.. I'll have to remember that -
catch is, I'd rather be out on a stink-pot than not out at all; such as
when my (sail)boat's on its' cradle like it is right now!
It's no so bad, really. You just tell your brother-in-law that you get
sea-sick VERY easily (he bought a stink-pot didn't he?.. he just might
be stupid enough to buy THAT line!) and so would he mind going VERY
slowly... slow enough to "feel" the motion of the water. Then you get
yourself one of those "natural-sounds" tapes or discs and play that with
the earphones on, all the time looking out over the side (so that any
part of the boat is out of your peripheral vision) and ensuring you're
ALWAYS (very important part) UPwind of the exhaust.
Enjoy your trip! Oh yes, a nice glass of wine helps, too.
