I've had a similar problem, but in the other direction. While recently
working on something new in Delphi 1.x, I resorted to F1 help for it. I was
reading instructions that didn't seem to have anything to do with the dialogs
I was seeing, and finally realized that partway through the chain of help
screens I was using the help files for Delphi 2.x had shown up.
I should have realized it right away, since the 16-bit help system doesn't
look like the 32-bit, but I was concentrating on other problems. :-)
I don't have a solution for you, but at least can sympathize. That and a
quarter gets you coffee.
What annoyed me is that the effect I'm trying to acheive in Delphi 1 would be
a piece of cake in Delphi 2.
