I had each window in my house with a blind, refered to as a screen of
wire for security.  I can have my windows opened wiht these blinds
for protection against anyone comming into my house to get my kids.
I also have the beams across my house in every which way that if anyone
crosses these beams all my rotation lights, sirens wiht the whole house
lighting up will scream across the community.  We have hit and run
even if the area is in bombing noise.  I also have the PANIC button for
my safty if anyone comes near me or my feathered kids.
I dont' fool around with camera only to take the pictures of who is 
around my place but I certainly don't count on the cameras to see if it
is a cat, racoon, or a person.  Just my last chance fire arm.
