-> It wouldn't be constitutional.
You know, Matt, you remind me of my brother. He owns guns, but doesn't
belong to the NRA or worry about the government outlawing his guns
because "They can't do that, it would be unconstitutional."
-> All NRA (or any other group on any side of any issue) is doing is
-> running its own one-issue _newspaper_ when it prints such
-> information, and the courts won't allow "prior restraint" of
-> newspapers, newsletters, etc. There is a long history of such cases.
And how many years might it take for such a court case to work it's way
through our court system, past all the appeals and delays? How much
damage might the antis DO while it's working it's way through?
Let me suggest to you that:
A: It's always easier to defeat a bad law **BEFORE** it's passed than
it is to get it repealed or overturned.
and
B: The NRA wouldn't be wasting our time with this if THEIR legislative
**EXPERTS** didn't consider it a problem.
Regards
John
If they take our guns away, how will we shoot liberals?
