Hello All,
I am trying some things with the IBM User Interface Class Library, with
help from the UICL User's Guide and UICL Reference.
What I want to do is create a notebook, with on every page ("A"
to "Z") the same window.
This window should contain a listbox with a multi-line entryfield (which
displays additional info about the selected item in the listbox) next to it
and some push-buttons at the bottom.
The listbox and MLE should resize when the notebook is resized, the buttons
should stay the same size.
If a page-tab is selected, the first listbox-item which starts with this
letter should be selected from the listbox (like the phone-book in IBM
Works does).
If a key ( A-Z ) is pressed, the corresponding page-tab should be selected.
I have already created the notebook and all it's pages, but the problem I
have now is how to place the controls at the right place on a notebook
page.
I think I should use a IMultiCellCanvas object, which is used as the
window-parameter with every addLastPage()-call.
But as far as I've tried now, the controls aren't placed correctly ( for
example, they partly cover the binding of the notebook ).
For example, I want 20 pixels between all controls and between the controls
and page edges, the 3 push-buttons should be 60x30, the rest of the page
should be occupied by the listbox and MLE.
Does anybody have an example of how to do this? Also any tips about some of
the other things I want it to do are appreciated.
