Yoo Hoo, Carol!
CK> I saw the 101D and like it better than I thought I would after
CK> having seen the IMHO two wretched hyp TV shows about it (the show on
CK> ABC-TV on Thanksgiving night, and the "Making of..." show on the
CK> Disney Channel).
Is it just me, or are there not more minutes of film in "Making of..."
promotions than in the movie?
CK> The graphics are excellent, BTW. I wonder.... will there be a 101D
CK> video game, since one was so prominent in the movie.... I wonder....
CK> :: smirk ::
I just wonder why it isn't out yet!
CK> The good Doctor [John] is "in" musically and it was a good rendition
CK> of the Disney song.
Did you bring your notebook to the theater and copy down all the new
verses?
CK> There is a licensed product called "Wettin' Whizzer": You feed the
CK> plush toy water from a bowl and it flows through the base to wet
CK> specially treated newspapers at the dog's other 'end'. If you
CK> find toys like "Wettin' Whizzer" to be tasteless, someone on the
CK> Disney newsgroups is urging people to write comments at
CK> www.disney.com to let them know this sort of product is not a good
CK> idea.
With respect, I belive I'll comment with my wallet. It's all a
corporation really listens to anyway. I have had to reconcile myself to
being further and further from this culture's center of gravity as I
have grown older.
BTW, how do you send a message through www.disney.com? Neither that page
nor any other is set to take email (except as an addition to a lodging
reservation).
CK> The "Hercules" trailer song "Zero to Hero" looked _GREAT_, I like
CK> the departure in animation style.
If you think it's a "departure" rather than a "revisitation", you need
to go see "Toot, Plunk, Whistle and Boom" again! 8B-)
