An automotive brake light of 36 Watts would
draw 3 Amps {at} 12 Volts. At 5 Volts the lower
voltage would draw less current, but, the
filament would be cooler (and therefore would
have an even lower resistance than it does at
12 Volts) and so would draw closer to 2 Amps.
An automotive headlamp capsule should draw
more than enough at 5 Volts to run a PS.
