Can't see it would run any different from any of the other Opterons... different thermal envelope and power consumption, same great taste, less calories... :D Haven't tried that motherboard yet... I have several interesting benchmarks here from the latest quad-core Intel offerings and such - need to pull together the numbers into something digestible and meaningful. As the stuff passes through my shop, I make sure it gets a spin on RC5-72 (distributed.net) and SysBench, so we have some OS/2 benchmarks instead of the Windows stuff all the tech sites publish. I think I've got the only example of an Intel quad-core showing 3 CPU's on eCS 1.2R... :D I did get the Q6600 working with the ASUS P5B-VM DO motherboard, but the IRQ sucks up easily 20% of one CPU all the time... the architecture is as flawed as AMD says it is.
