ST> What did you think of "Big Red Tequila"? I couldn't get up enough
SB> interest to ST> buy it.
SB> I read very indiscriminately. BRT was OK - passed the time tolerably
SB> well, but I'm not eagerly awaiting the next.
I do believe I will pass on it then.
ST> and read the first Carol O'Connell and didn't like it.
SB> Probably should give this one a miss, too, if that's the case - same
 SB> idiosyncratic characters.
Yes, that was my problem with the first, didn't like the characters.
Seems to be a love it or hate it series of books.
ST> I just finished "Bonita Faye" by Margaret Moseley (loved it), and
ST>am reading Angel of Darkness (still), started "Snow Falling on
ST>Cedars", and a non-mystery, "Bachelor Brothers Bed and Breakfast
 ST>Pillow Book".
SB> Read "Snow Falling ..." It was a nice change of pace but overhyped,
 SB> I thought.
I am enjoying it so far (only on page 60 or so). It's a quicker read
than I thought it would be though.
SB> Just started Minette Walters'first, "The Ice House. There's a
SB> two-parter currently underway on PBS' "Mystery!" based on her book
 SB> "The Sculptress."
Yes, I am taping it as I have not yet read "The Sculptress" and like to
read the book first (so I can complain that the movie wasn't as good)
I read "The Dark Room" and enjoyed it.
