| subject: | Re: IBM PS/2 |
I'm actually typing this from a PS/2 Model 30 286 :) It's quickly becoming one of my favourite machines - more bearable than an XT and less bulky than an AT. Plus VGA! It doesn't have Microchannel; it was one of the few PS/2 machines to have 16-bit ISA slots onboard. As much as I like Microchannel, it's a pain and expensive to find suitable cards. My machine has DOS 3.3, a network card and a (replica) Adlib card. Makes a very decent little DOS box. I say dust it off and put it back in to use :) Howard --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A43 2019/03/03 (Windows/32)* Origin: After Hours|The Villages,FL|afterhours-bbs.com (1:123/130) SEEN-BY: 1/19 16/0 120/544 123/130 131 203/0 221/0 1 6 360 229/426 230/0 SEEN-BY: 240/5832 261/38 280/5003 320/119 219 322/0 633/0 267 280 281 408 410 SEEN-BY: 633/412 640/1321 1384 712/620 848 886 770/1 @PATH: 123/130 320/219 221/1 640/1384 712/848 633/280 267 |
