Dump what?  A defective run of parts?  USR wasn't aware this would happen,
Floyd.  Do you think they diabolically produced defective modems so they
could subject unsuspecting users to having them crash during a future SDL
load?

I'd like to know how you would have prevented it.  None of the beta testers
had defective units, and apparently the ones used in USR's DQ testing labs
were OK too.
