I dunno that you can rely on the postings to get a reasonable BB
theory Andrew. People post all kinds of crazy ideas about it. As
for me, all I can tell is that the famous 'red shift' suggests the
universe is expanding, and by inference, must have an origin to be
expanding *from*. But: whether that is true or not, I cannot tell
because all I have is the color of the light that reaches us, and
while the red shift seems an indication of an expanding universe,
I do not know that it is, in fact, expanding. There may well be a
different reason for the color change in some astronomic objects.
For that reason, I have been exploring the idea that we all live
on a vast holodeck. Since it is maintained by software, there is
no reason to presume that the subroutines are, as science says,
all uniform in their function at all points on the deck. There is
some reason to think that things on your end of the deck are much
different from what they are on my end, and that therefore, you
come to very different conclusions about what you see, since what
you see is not the same as what I, or anyone else, sees.
