I found for me the public school is trying to educate the mass and I
wanted to tailor me daughters  education to things that interested her
because public school had an agenda that they stuck to and was not
working for her. (We also tried the private school route but they to
could not spark an interest for learning in her. I am in my first year
of trying this, starting late (she is 15) and can not say that her
interest has increased that much, but she is enjoying being
homeschooled. If I continue for the next 3 years or not remains to be
seen, I do know that if she goes back into public school she would have
gained some self confidence, and self worth, because I am trying to
instill that in her. Both public and private school did nothing for her
self esteem. Peace,
