As I said above, NOTHING worked.  It wouldn't dial, initialize the modem or 
do any of those other things that we all have come to expect of our various 
diallers...

I've used iLink as well.. Given that I experience maybe one busy signal a 
month with my ISP, I really don't need the redial capabilities.  Since I'm on 
Advantis, I do have a couple of other options.  The "new" Advantis dialler 
works quite well, most of the time, the DOIP works ALL the time, and if I 
feel like using SLIP, there's always the original dialler...  So, I really 
don't have a lot of incentive to play with either of the "3rd Party" 
alternatives...
