There was a biker bar name The Purple Earth, or The Dirt as it was called. It
was a quintestial biker bar with Harleys double parked for a whole block. The
place was always packed. By mutual agreenent, all the bikers kept it peaceful
inside. Boy-o there's a tale or two. The music was the best Portland had to
offer, the beer was cheap and lord have mercy on the poor schmuck that tried
to rob the joint. ;>
