Well first of all, a digital phone beats hell out of an analog one eany 
day of the week.  On the Analog side I have had Motorolas, Nokias, 
Sonys and find the Qualcomm to be a superior performing phone.  The 
size and configuration and operating features are excellent.  Have you 
tried one?
