Their are several tabs across the top of the main menu, I have gone thru all of
them 'advanced' 'boot', 'power'.. The options for Translation method, SMART,
PIO Mode, Ultra dma mode, Multi-sector transfer only appear when 'user type
HDD' is selected instead of 'auto' on the main menu IDE selection. I've tried
the 'user type' with translation method without success.
As Mike O'Conner pointed out, iRQ 14 is not being assigned to the IDE channel
and I'm thinking that is the root of the problem. I checked to make sure
Plug'n'Play is turned off as he suggested and it was.
