VW>Hi! I am new to this echo, and while browsing through 60 some messages,

Don't know about cats but I do have a few unicorns and I also live in
Tackytown (tacoma)
There is a booklet of unicorns put out by Karen Everson of "Moongate
Designs", there is seven or eight patterns in the booklet and all are
fairly easy, most are two to five colors. Good projects for waste canvas
or if you want something easy to work on when taking a break from
something more complicated, and the booklet is only about 5 to 6
dollars. Moongate designs also puts out a booklet of dragons and several
for celtic knotwork as well as other heraldic designs. I know of two
sources for this books, one is local and one is in Palo Alto CA. I do
not know the local ones number off hand nor how soon she would be able
to put her hands on it, as she is an SCA only merchant and does not have
a shop to speak of. I do know the other one has web page, phone, and
does do mail order.
