I have in the past burned and read UDF CDRW and DVD+RW disks.
Now I find that if I put in one that I previously read OK, I keep getting
an access denied.
I formatted a CDRW (format s: /fs:udf /l ), put some files on it, and then
later was not able to read it.
CHKDSK s: /F grinds for a while, and then cusses about the thing not being
properly unmounted.
I let it correct, and then can read some stuff.
However, I then put the CD in a W2k machine (w2k is supposed to have UDF
support) and it just says "incorrect function". When I put it back in the
eCS machine, it is now unreadable.
The drivers were updated using ecsmt (which now doesn't find anything
suitable to download or install). The files are dated December 2004 - the
txt file is udf215.txt
The burner is working well for regular stuff.
What's wrong?
