Yes - sorry - I only saw your other reply after responding. So it must 
be something else.

Can you try using LVMGUI to put two partitions on the USB drive ? (so 
you'll get two letters), If these can then be formatted from WinXP and 
seen and used from eCS, this would point indeed to an issue with 
partitions > 2GB on memory keys.
