Hatched on Thanksgiving, and you had a chance to name him "Pilgrim" (a
la John Wayne) and didn't? Tom, you're slipping......

>Can you just imagine?! The tears of joy nearly came ...
You shoulda let'em.....I cried when Rico hatched, then called all
my friends at 11pm on a weeknight to announce his hatching.
> KJ> Boy, have *I* missed some mail packets someplace! Congratulations,
> KJ> grandpa! It's about time!
>Gee, thanks Kathy. We all must be missing mail. My FIDO PARROTS echo has
>been sparse. [Macho image ON/off] And, I AIN'T NO GRANDPA (yet) MISSY!!
Sure you are, when your 'kids', feathered or otherwise, have kids.
Yes, the echo has been a bit slow lately. I don't blame it all on Fido
though. If everyone is half as busy as I've been lately, echomail is
probably low on the 'must do' list! I figure that after Christmas things
will pick up out here again. After over 6 years of bbsing on Parrots, I
have a pretty good feel for the seasonal up-and-down-swings of traffic.

Did the vet work and checked over husbandry already with Paco. WILL NOT
have a vet scope him--it's just not that important to me.
>The final step was to replace the male.
Not an option here, what with the aviary permanently fully closed now.
> KJ> Hey, good client-vet relationships make more money in the long term,
>Tell that to my car mechanic ... sigh ...
Hehehe, they know about that stuff too, don't they? I've been that
route more than once myself.
