Allo!
BJ> Gilles, how can Max control how a message is created by the Bluewave
BJ> door? Expecting Maximus to properly handle or correct
A lot. As long Maximus take 102 for 2002, Maximus can handle a lot.
Scott just have to take care.
BJ> a message that's been improperly created by a third-
BJ> party door is unrealistic on your part. From what
I don't expect the moon from the software I use. Just a little
professionalism from the author. When someone point a "bug",
we can expect more than a "NOT MY FAULT" game.
BJ> Scott has said, it appears there is no year 2000+
BJ> problem with Maximus 3.01 or its internal QWK mail
BJ> system.
He never said that, see him previous post.
BJ> This is a *Bluewave* issue, _not_ a Max issue. (Good
BJ> luck finding George Hatchew, who has disappeared from
BJ> the face of the earth). :-(
Their is a lot of Offline readers, and Bluewave are only a small
utilitie in BBS world. Easy to replace. On the other hand, Maximus take
a HUGE place and LOT OF SYSOP AND USERS like it. Not easy, but not
IMPOSSIBLE to replace.
Au plaisir
Gilles
PS: Just take a look at the date field into the door.sys file generated by
Maximus. Who will handle the date field correctly? Third partly door?
