Comparing teacher pay, or anyone else's pay, between Canada and America
is impossible due to the vast welfare state up there.
Some Canadians win big from the cradle-to-grave welfare state: those with
several kids who will use the "free" college tuition up there are a prime
example. Others just lose from the devalued currency, very-high taxes, and
the high price of gasoline.
