Unfortunately, not all of us are rolling in money, and need to work within
certain budgetary constraints. For example, my Triton II 430VX board is a
BIOStar, but it cost me less than HALF the price of, say, an Endeavour HX.
Here are the Landmark 6.0 figures for that board with a Cx6x86/100 CPU
incrementally clocked from 100Mhz to 133MHz...
100MHz 110MHz 120MHz 133MHz
---------------------------------------
CPU 1188.92 1313.21 1432.61 1589.58
FPU 1154.86 1275.72 1391.75 1544.63
Vid 19660.80 20915.74 21370.43 21845.33
ID# P-120+ P-133+ P-150+ P-166+
Bus 50MHz 55MHz 60MHz 66MHz
Now show me an Intel Pentium CPU which will overclock to the above speeds,
AND run reliably. I've also discovered that the 6x86's pin Y33 alters the
CPU from a clock doubler to a clock tripler, so much fun is about to be had
by all...
Regards, Bill
