What, like Banksia modems, for which they are the local agents? ROFL! BV> As for your current problem, ditch the drivers that came with your BV> CD-ROM reader. There is something a little strange with the Triton II IDE I/F BV> and I don't know exactly what it is yet, but you've just run into it. Turns out that the driver was nothing more than a buggy piece of shit, and a new one solved the problem. Regarding Edge, I tend to agree with you in principle, but if one purchases carefully and selectively, they're not such a bad mob. I certainly can't complain about some of their prices, such as... Triton II 430VX ....... $124 IBM 6x86/100 inc fan .. $110 1.2Gb WD mode 4 HD .... $209 KTX V.34 modems ....... $130 8Mb EDO SIMMs ......... $ 54 1.7Gb IBM HD .......... $240 S3 764 Trio64 1Mb ..... $ 44 1Mb DRAM upgrade ...... $ 19 And, BTW, those 1.7Gb IBM drives are bloody brilliant. Randall Lane has one, and it's one of the fastest HDs I've ever seen in my life. I kid you not.
