You've got me lost. If there's something I need to know about navigational
issues which were of importance during a recent past please send netmail to
2:292/854 or email to wd-at-skynet-dot-be.

You mean that Korean-707 which strayed over Russian airspace? Yes, it will be
in it ... not the Korean 747 though, thatone has been too widely discussed to
still be interesting.

There's a Belgian military C-119 shot down by British forces over Germany, an
AerLingus "Viscount" shot down by the British over the Irish sea,
an Israeli
Constellation shot down by Bulgarian Migs, a 707-freigher shot down during
landing at Lagos (Nigeria), an Italian DC9 that was shot down during a
navy-exercise south of Sicily, an unarmed US C130 shot down by Russia after
having strayed from Turkish airspace. In all 12-13 imo well researched cases
but I'm not there yet. Not everybody likes to talk about these occurences. For
example the Pentagon releases nothing about that Iranian A310 shot down by the
Vincennes other than the press releases.

Talking to crash-survivors is an odd experience. Many of them feel guilty for
surviving.
