AA>Handy CLI tool, part of XP OS: MSIZAP.exe. Just enter "msizap" at the comm AA>line to get the Help: August, Thanks for telling us about this tool. AA>FAILED to clear all data. Hope that You got it to work better for You. I looked in the C:\WINDOWS\INSTALLER directory on my XP box and there are 48 Directories and 201 files in it. I took a looksee using dir /s/-p and it showed me that all that stuff was using 758 MB on my drive. I decided not to bother it by using MSIZAP because it is taking up just a 'small' space on my 250 GB drive. Now if that drive space was being used on my 486 DOS/WIN3.1 box both of the drives in it would be filled up. ;-) I just looked at the 486 box and the C:\WINDOWS\INSTALLER directory isn't on it. * SLMR 2.1a #T348 * Incompetence knows no barriers of time, place or person. --- SBBSecho 2.12-Linux* Origin: telnet & http://cco.ath.cx - Dial-Up: 502-875-8938 (1:2320/105.1) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 550 620 848 953 @PATH: 2320/105 0/0 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
