August, I was looking around the Command List in XP Help & Support and came across a Command that looks to me like it does some of the things that WMI(C) does. I haven't tried it out yet (You know, it's one of those ROUNDTUITs). Also today when I was roaming through Microsoft Support pages I read a page about Backing Up the Registry. I was thinking that after I typed REGEDIT at the Run prompt, just Exporting the Registry to the Desktop, so I could Import it in case I goofed up, was the same as Backing Up the Registry, but it isn't. The command on the KB 322756 page says, Start - Run - type %SystemRoot%\system32\Restore\RSTRUI.EXE and at the Welcome Screen to click Create A Restore Point - Next - type a file name - click Create - click Close . Boy!, I sure get tangled up trying to learn stuff about XP, don't I? * SLMR 2.1a #T348 * Okay,I PulledThePin. NowWhat? Wait!
