Hello All,
This new ROM-upgrade is of today freqable on my system (2:285/255.1
+31-13-4636984)
Put a statement in your FDNODE.CTL (or a similar file if you're using another
mailer then FrontDoor):
phone 2:285/255.1 31-13-4636984
phone 15:900/9414 31-13-4636984
When done, compile again the nodelist and you would be able to request files
on
my system.
The following upgrades are available:
12014425.exe SupraFAXModem V34 extern (magic-name
UPE1201)
12114425.exe SupraFAXModem V34 intern (magic-name
UPI1211)
12814425.exe SupraFAXModem 288 German BZT approved (magic-name
UPE1281)
12914425.exe SupraFAXModem V34 intern PNP (magic-name
UPI1291)
13314425.exe SupraSONIC 336V+ (magic-name
UPSONIC)
win14425.exe WIN95-flasher v1.440-25 ROM
The WIN95-package includes updated WIN95-drivers.
All the packages have an updated AT336-command list.
-= Changes between the Supra 288 1.440-23 and the 1.440-25 ROM Code =-
1) On some calls the transmitted INFO0 sequence did not
indicate the 1664 point super constellation was supported.
Depending on the remote modem this could cause a 28.8Kbps
connect instead of a 31.2Kbps or 33.6Kbps connection.
2) The +DS command parser would not allow both the BTLZ
dictionary size and BTLZ max string lengths to be set in a
    single command.
3) A timing problem on the SUP1331 that caused some class 2
fax software to fail when receiving a fax has been fixed.
4) A problem with the initialization of the NVRAM was fixed.
Some S-registers were not being set to default values when the
    NVRAM was initialized.
5) When connecting to some modems which have Rockwell ACi
datapumps which are not configured for operation at
33.6Kbps a problem could occur that would cause very high
bit error rates at the remote modems receiver. This would
cause error correction negotiations to fail. The problem
does not occur if the remote Rockwell based modem is
configured for 33.6Kbps operation, or if the remote modem's
firmware includes certain Rockwell datapump fixes.
The firmware's connection logic was modified so it can
detect if the remote modem will have this problem, if it
will the local transmitter is adjusted to prevent it.
All, regards & take care,
Henk (e-mail: henk.loosbroek@pi.net) [PGP KeyID: 9032BB1D]
