Squish works very well with *.MSG as well as the non-Opus SQUSIH 
format for Maximus.  I ran Squish as a mail tosser/scanner/packer for a year 
or more under Opus 1.73A and it ran flawlessly. I had also run Qmail (QM_131) 
before that, and it worked fine, too - tho its probably getting long in the 
tooth now.
        Squish 1.11 is the latest version of the Squish 
osser/Scanner/Packer,
and is Freqable from me and many other sites as SQSH_111.LZH (11-01-94).
And, yes, its freeware, in the spirit of the great bird ...
