Like I said, I didn't knowingly do anything to stop it working, but it is
an UNTESTED COMBINATION, and it's up to the developer (only developers
recompile code) who wants to go to an untested realm to test it for
themselves.

I didn't force anything.  I shipped a product.  Gave you complete source
code too, so that you have complete control over it.
