Yep: you can upgrade to 33k6; which ROM-version is now in your modem (type in
terminal-mode ati3 and you'll see)?
The current ROM is version 1.440-25. From ROM 1.440-12 and upwards the modem
was 33k6; as of ROM 1.440-18 you can make also 33k6 connects with USR-modems.
The latest ROM is available on InterNet; do you have an InterNet account?
You can also file-request the ROM from my system (see next message) ...
