I believe that the password prompt can be configured to be on or off. One
of my laptops is configured with two users. When it comes out of Hibernate
(or Standby) the logon screen with all the usernames pops up.  I don't seem
to mind that.  Another laptop is just configured as a single user (Admin
privileges), and it just goes directly to the Desktop when it comes out of
Hibernate.
