Yes to all your questions.  But what would being able to turn on your
coffee pot and lights with your computer have to do with the security of
your birds? ...Actually, to implement security for your birds with
the above type _stuff_ might wind up to be cost inefficient and not
really effective.  What specifically are you interested in protecting?
I sort of have the feeling here that we may be on thin ice if not bird
related and I can just see our moderator reading each sentence word by
word.....
