You can't blame the kid for reaching for a ball headed his way. Every fan
reacts like that, especially kids. The blame lies with a) the security
force, which was supposed to keep people from the fence to prevent just such
an occurence, but obviously didn't, and b) Rich Garcia, foul line umpire, who
is supposed to keep an eye on fans.
