She doesn't want coz she can't. Would need some code (former)Big Blue
didn't/doesn't make available, so it's a no-no for her. To bad, but
it's that what it is. (-:

... hmmm, iirc DANIS506R173.ZIP refers to danis506.add and not
Danidasd.dmd.
btw, from danidasd.doc:
DESCRIPTION
This release of my DASD Manager driver is based on the OS2DASD.DMD
sources
provided by IBM on their DDK site. It has the latest feature set as
found
in the current fixpacks.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Caution:
DaniDASD.DMD is made for non-LVM systems only!
It does not work with OS2LVM.DMD!
It can not overcome limitations of FDISK or OS/2 Bootmanager!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, as the kernel files coming with eCS force the use of the 32 bit
os2dasd.dmd, we better can follow her advise, and forget about it, the
"it" being danidasd.dmd .

"Proper quoting" is in my book to omit as much as possible, in order to
make messages easely readable. Means, still in "my book", you omit
everything that isn't directly replied to.
As in this message for example. :-)
