We have done that at our sales.  Also, if my husband (Paul) has a tool
or something someone is looking for, and they have already bought
something else, he will often say "just take it."

Oh you mean like the Christmas one I was at a couple of weeks ago?  I
love auctions.  If you are interested, there is a newspaper you can buy
or subscribe to.  The cost is about $30 per year.  The paper comes once
per week and lists many auctions around the province.  I am not quite
sure where you live, or even if in Canada.  However, if you need any
further info, let me know.  Also, if you come across any good auctions,
