DM> Better behaved programs use the %PATH% statement, rather than DM> modifying your existing PATH statement. BL> Yair... but that still puts them at the head of the queue! DM> That depends on wether the %PATH% is at the beginning or the DM> end. Have you ever seen a program that puts itself at the end? DM> And I had to check my autoexec.bat... DM> And bloody believe it or not, Quicktime has bunged itself at DM> the head of the %path% statement, bringing it to the forefront DM> of the entire path statement. Fuckers. ROFL!!! See? Did you see Roy's idea? Take it out of the PATH, write a batch file with the same name, put it in your c:\ute directory (already on the PATH), and use it to change directories and call the EXE. And then change back to c:\ later. Regards, Bob ___ Blue Wave/QWK v2.12 @EOT: ---* Origin: Precision Nonsense, Sydney (3:711/934.12) SEEN-BY: 711/934 712/610 @PATH: 711/934 |
