-> Wouldn't that be a sight- a whole herd of them flapping, eyes
-> pinning, screaming, squabbling to get the wettest spot.
You're right. If I was brave enough to go back down there in Mexico
where I've seen flocks of 50-100 Amazons I could check that out!
-> Sorry about the Lilac Crown. That must've been one strange affair of
-> the heart.
He was blind, and really needed someone to pal around with. The great
dane loved everybody!
-> Sounds like the Yellow Cheek is where he's meant to be too.
I guess so. I learned not to try and mix parrots and business offices.
Too many people in and out 'confuse' amazons, I guess. Mine was sweet
as could be before we brought the office into his home.
-> I've never had the privilege of seeing one in person- in pictures
-> they look stunning. They must have nice dispositions, huh?
As amazons go they're quite small, and not near as vivid as most of the
others. The deep scalloped front is very handsome, and some really
beautiful wing feathers.
We've had two, and their disposition is outstanding. They just seem to
LOVE being handled, and I've never had one offer to bite me after they
got aclimatized. While they're almost like stuffed toys at times, they
are VERY funny when left to their own devices.
-> Amazons. You should see the picture she sent me of a basket full of
-> DYH babies- beautiful little blimps with lots of yellow on their
-> heads
Unfortunately, I'm substantially sans dinero and must look for something
I can afford on zero income.
