You seem to have a motherboard BIOS with the same limitations as mine
(Asus P3V4X): If our BIOSes weren't braindead, ther would be (so LSI
told me waaay back) at least one more option for Support Interrupt --
but I don't recall what.
In my case it means that the second channel is no longer visible once
the machine has booted, with the result that I can have a CD-ROM drive
on the second channel, boot from an OS/2 or eCS CD in that drive. but
then, when the driver loads, the second channel and the CD are no longer
accessible. I solved the problem with a separate el-cheapo SCSI adapter
(also LSILogic).
