Are you sure you have the model# correct? The Sunon online catalog lists 
a KD1208PTS2 (note the transposed digits) with a speed of 2700rpm, 
36.5cfm, 31dbA, but only 1.6W (not 2.2W). These are sleeve-bearing 
units; if you can get ball-bearing units, they should last longer.
