That is something I've been asking myself and I haven't been able to come to
any conclusions.

How can we make fidonet more fair and a good place to be without becoming a
popularity contest?

What is the situation with the IC now, we don't have one do we? Do we still
have the ZCC to call on if needed? The ZCC did provide one of the checks and
balances in fidonet. That is not going to be an easy discussion I think, but
it is worth discussing (no "big guns" or finger pointing required).
