123c5aa6e61f tech Hello Tom - --8<--cut TA>> after running this (Hoary Hedgehog) new kid on the block, TA>> Ubuntu linux, on his laptop and desk top; and he doesn't TA>> "think I've ever been such a happy Linux user". TA>> This for a product from the Republic of South Africa, and TA>> its free to use with use with 16,000 other free utilities TA>> yet already yet. TW> I read the origional Press release when it entered the TW> market but never followed up on it. SO it may be as TW> promising for the NON Nix types as they claim? No, not promising at all. From what I'm reading Ubuntu installs easier due to a GUI installer but after that it's claimed to be _more_ difficult to use and the auto-installer of additional software (utilities?) often requires manual reconfiguration afterwards and is even said to 'hose' the machine at times. Didn't sound 'good' to me. :-( > > , , > o/ Charles.Angelich \o , > __o/ > / > USA, MI < \ __\__ --- * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ...
