subject: Unusually high cpu usage in DOS progs un16:48:3705/24/97

Hi All!
I've been using OS/2 for some time now, and it seems to me
that DOS programs running under Warp 4 take an unusual amount of CPU usuage.
In fact, programs that would multitask just fine under Warp 2.0/2.1/3.0 seem
to take
over the entire system. Network requests come to a crashing halt whenever
I start a DOS program. OS2TSR and similar programs seem to have
no effect, nor do any of the idle/priority settings in the properties.
Has anybody experienced this or heard about DOS being "broken" under
Warp 4?
Thanks in advance,
John.
