Replying to a message of Tony Ingenoso to Gary Wiltshire: TI> From: "Tony Ingenoso" TI> I'm not overly concerned about the DPRK...because I believe the PRC TI> will eventually step up and deal with that problem for us...even to TI> the point of using force (a staged coup perhaps) if need be. With TI> the cold war over, there's not a lot of reason for them to support TI> the DPRK they way they did in years past. I hope you're correct. I read someplace recently where China developed some temporary 'problems' that caused the flow of oil from China to the DPRK to stop briefly a couple of times. AFAIK there's only one such pipeline supplier so any stoppage, however brief, would be noticed; I think China was strongly hinting to Kim that he'd better calm down. ---* Origin: Bob's Soapbox, Plattsmouth, Nebraska, USA (1:379/103.104) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/103 1 633/267 |
