BL>> well, that was $0.25 wasted. Har, har, har. So now I've got

BL>> it tagged, what do you want me to do - read it? It's nearly all you

BL>> talking to strange people in your inimitable style.
. Why am I

 BL>> so naive?

PE> Well I would have said do your public duty and provide a whole swag of

PE> public domain recipes, but I've got 10 meg (compressed) of them now, so

PE> there's not much point really. You must be good at something. Try to

PE> think of something you can contribute to the public domain. How about

PE> writing a science fiction book and releasing it to the public domain? It

PE> doesn't have to be perfect. In fact, it will be the world's best public

PE> domain science fiction book by virtue of the fact that no-one's provided

PE> a better one. I mean realistically, just how much longer have you got

PE> for this world? 6 months? You could write a book in that time, and your

PE> name would live on forever (until my hard disk crashes anyway). No, only

PE> joking, I expect people (Paul Markham is a sure thing anyway) to FREQ the

PE> book, and then if both of us are dead and both our hard disks are gone,

PE> it will survive the world over!

Hey, come on. Even I have some standards. While a PD science fiction book
might have some novelty value, the rantings of a senile old man are hardly
likely to make good reading. Hmmmm, come to think of it, this didn't stop
Heinlein from making a bundle on some of the crappiest books I've ever
seen. Go for it Bob!

If Bob is really as over the hill as you guys say, maybe he should call it
quits now, and stop being a burden on his loved ones. Or his family for
that matter. If he wants to do something useful, he can contribute his body
to science. Scientists generally lead a dull life and could use a good
laugh.
