Hello All, During my brief absence, a gremlin has snuck into my PC, rendering my WfWG install useless. Not that it was that great to start with, but it worked. Most of the time. Until now, that is. When I boot WfWG, the program manager starts, but there are no program groups, and there is an error, "Progman - An error has occurred" If I select close at that point, I get "Application Error - Progman caused GPF at loc ....." If I choose Ignore, I get "Cannot open group file '%s'. Do you want Program Manager to try an load this in future? ". This occurs ad nauseam. I have reinstalled WfWG, to no avail - the same error occurs. It may yet be a case of deltree windows. In that case, what files would I need to keep to retain things like video and sound card drivers and settings - win.ini ? system.ini ? It's a PITA restoring all those sound card and other settings and drivers - a pain that I wish to avoid, if possible. Thanks. Dieter ...
