I use Quicken, the only thing that I can't get it to do is CPI indexing for CGT, I do that in a spread sheet (or tax software) if I need the figure during the year, otherwise the tax software works it out at tax time. I had a look at the demos you mentioned but chose and was using the Stex portfolio manager along with the Stex charting package, until I changed to Quicken and SuperCharts. BTW I still have the stex programs if your interested....make an offer.
