My wife's grandmother used to raise chickens. One day my wife and kids were
out at the farm and I went out later to meet them. I get there and my son
(who was about 5 at the time) is sitting on a bucket. As I walked up to him
he lifts the bucket and a headless chicken runs right into him so he slams
the bucket back down on the chicken. I was totally unprepared for this of
course and I guess it showed on my face, anyway he looks up at me and says
"it's not dead yet" then smiled at me and sat back on the bucket
to wait.

Ok so I went looking for my wife to get some kind of an explanation. It was
obvious where they were from all the noise the chickens were making. I
opened the door on the henhouse and well the word stampede doesn't begin to
explain the flow rate of chickens coming out that door... it was like a
wave of insane feathers and claws bowling me over.

and then my wife yelled at me for letting them out.

Geo.
